Ubuntu及衍生系統用戶安裝，打開終端，使用以下命令：

sudo add-apt-repository ppa：eugenesan / ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install smartgithg

基本上已經可以看到Smartgit了，

但執行後還會要使用者進官網下載最新版的安裝!?

尚須按照下面步驟執行：

1. 先按照對話框提示下載最新版Smartgit

2. 下載完後，解壓縮到特定路徑，如：~/download/

3. 執行~/download/smartgit/bin/smartgit.sh

4. 依照提示執行安裝

5. 將~/download/smartgit/底下bin, dictionaries, and lib資料夾中的內容複製到/usr/share/smartgit/底下

   (bin資料夾下只需複製smartgit.sh與smartgit.vmoptions)

這樣在工具列鐘就可直接執行最新版的smartgit了!!
